Pull in off the highway and you'll see why so many travelers make this their home base: an RV park near Mount Vernon, Texas with wide concrete pads, roomy roads that big rigs handle without a second thought, and green grass instead of gravel and weeds. The pool stays clean and open, the clubhouse and fitness center are steps from your site, and evenings stay quiet enough that one night often turns into several.

Lake country is the big draw around here. The Cove at Lake Cypress Springs is an easy run for an afternoon on the water, and Walleye Park, Overlook Park, and Allingham Park all give you shoreline spots to spend a slow morning with a chair and a cooler. This is a beautiful, very clean RV park with large, wide, and flat concrete sites and spacious roads that make it very easy to get around, even with a big rig. There is also a tiny home community, making this a great place for both travelers and those looking for a longer-term residence. The park also has a clean workout room and an outdoor recreation area, which we really enjoyed. The manager, Chad, was super nice, caring, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the hospitality and would highly recommend this RV park!

Very nice place, pool Is clean and open! I love how the bus comes to the park for school. They have nice staff and really fun concerts. Best RV Park ever😊

This park is truly our favorite so far! They offer everything from pool, workout room, laundry facility and the grounds are immaculate with green grass and not green weeds! The manager, Chad, does a wonderful job. We will definitely come back to this campground. The sites are spacious and the roads are wide and easy to navigate.

We stayed here one night while traveling through Texas. Absolutely beautiful place! Paved, level spots, grass and trees, dog park, and laundry room. It was so quiet and peaceful I tried to talk my husband into staying for another day but we had to get home. I highly recommend The Oaks!

We came in late and left early. But the park was quiet and clean. We did get to use the pool and shower and bathroom facilities. Everything was clean and as pictured on their website. We would stay again.
